Our Background
Cornelius founded LIMSODAST SL in 2008. He moved to Mallorca in 1985 to organize the design department of the renowned fashion company Guver S.A at their headquarters in Palma de Mallorca. He immediately fell in love with the island most and the Mallorquin way of life, learning to speak the language and integrating totally with the local people, allowing him to form strong relationships with well-known families.
In 1993 the property boom, initiated by increased activity in the German market, started in Mallorca leading Cornelius to accept an opportunity to work as Design Consultant for German property investors in Mallorca and in March 1994 he signed his first contract to refurbish 3 beach apartments in Cala Viñas.
Because of his connection with the local people and his fluency in 5 languages he became extremely successful and in 1995 that he began working with the leading construction company BALTYC and the renowned Russian Architect PEDRO OTZOUP, who operated mostly in Puerto Andraitx, Camp de Mar and Golf Andraitx building the high-end properties for wealthy German celebrities, such as Claudia Schiffer with her husband David Copperfield, and Willie Weber, the representative of Michael Schumacher, to name just a few of their clients.
Subsequently, Cornelius set up as a project developer in his own right under Cornelius Consult S.L, and from 1995 until 2000 was involved as project developer of 60 of the most exclusive properties for private clients and investors. His professional reputation was firmly established following the remarkable success of a project developed on behalf of his client Prince Zourab Tchokotua of Georgia.
In 2000 Cornelius entered into a longstanding professional relationship with Architect Miguel Arenas Gou and builder Pedro Ferra. Miguel was the leading architect and pioneer responsible for the design of ‘macro’ villas in the Cala Moraquas Urbanisation having entrusted the construction to Pedro Ferra, who already enjoyed a reputation on the Island as an outstanding constructor. It soon became clear with Miguel as the architect, Pedro as the Builder and Cornelius as the Project developer an unbeatable alliance had been formed. Consequently from 2000 to 2006 Cornelius managed more than 100 construction projects in Mallorca.
In addition to the more than 100 construction projects that Cornelius managed between 2000 to 2006 in Mallorca he has been active in mainland Spain.
In 2006 Cornelius, together with his Architect Marcos Sainz of MS DESIGN, started the design and planning the development of the luxury Urbanization Azahares Golf at the Valle del Este Golf Resort.
In 2008 Cornelius formed the project development company Limsodast SL. One of their first projects was the refurbishment of 4 houses in the historic village of Ses Alquerias, Mallorca, which utilized only original local materials in order to maintain and respect the traditional village aspect.
From 2008 Limsodast SL has been involved in project development on behalf of the German company Casa Elegance SL , an influential construction company.
In 2017 Cornelius and the owner of Valle Del Este constituted the company PREMIUM VILLAS VALLE DEL ESTE S.L. Together with the architect Salvador Griñan Montealegre they developed the concept of beautiful contemporary and high-end luxury villas with frontline views on the Valle Del Este Golf Resort.
Our success can be measured over 35 years of experience within excess of 200+ projects. Pivotal to that success has been understanding the fundamental importance of attention to detail which elevates our projects head and shoulders above those of our competitors.
